What a wild few months it's been and now it's time to roll out the filthy blood stained carpet and welcome you all to Pulse. Our baby..our little corner of Second Life. Welcome to it...enjoy yourselves. I know I will be. Thank you to everyone that helped put this together. Tannith, asc, Ven, Riot, Kalia, Sinji, Yukio, Cole, Vincent...our Fabulous DJ and Host staff all our vendors, tenants and friends and a special thanks to my passion, my heart, my hero...Roblem. This is what you've been waiting for Second Life. A fully functional mature multi-use Urban environment that caters to the macabre and twisted. We're not just a mall, not just residences, not just a club. Pulse is all of that and so much more. Club Mutation and the warehouse district and docks, a creepy carnival boardwalk, sleezy no-tell motel, scary woods to explore, a city bustling with hot urban stores, restaurants, city-style loft apartments and a tenement block for low incomes, Church with deep and dark catacombs, a huge hedge maze and graveyard with mortuary, an asylum mall and we haven't even gotten to the underground. Outfall pipes and manholes lead to dark and twisted tunnels, a toxic filled cess pool, morgue, torture rooms and dungeons and then there is Lurid...our den of depravity where pain is blessed and death is always release.
If you want an SL experience that will change your perspective on the Urban enviroment, you have to see this. We are NOT a roleplay sim, nor do we allow combat, but open roleplay is welcome and exploring your fantasies and fetishes is a must. Only three things to remember...this is a MATURE SIM with adult situations and environments far too disturbing to mention...18 and up ONLY. This is a HORROR SIM with frightening places and plenty of frights, blood and gore. And it is TOLERANT SIM, respecting all lifestyles, preferences and orientations. I've been exhausted and trying to relax all day today but I'm just so amped from the opening last night. Pulse isn't even close to done yet but the new warehouse style club was up and running as of 7 pm SLT Thursday, May 31. I sent out about 30 invites to our favorite designers and though almost certain none would show, hoped for the best. We actually got some responses before the club opened and excitedly signed on Jeepers Creepers (who make my fave shoes, the Betty) and Hybrid, a fantastic neko shop. I'm so excited to have them on board as vendors along with Pink & Punk, Bloodlines, Murderdoll and ReTox. I did have a feeling I wouldn't hear from the larger designers I sent invites to, but it was worth a shot. Damn and I forgot again to contact the vendors from the old mall and see if they wanted to move over to Pulse -headdesk- as acey would say.
Anyways, I was scrambling at the last minute to find something to wear and send out notices to all three groups. the first hour was a blur completely...taking snapshots for the blog, greeting everyone and paying out to the sploder (I never won a cent all night lol) Vincent the beautiful kitty-boy spun some emo for a bit, then hit us with the hard stuff. We had sooo many come to play. People I knew, new friends...everyone intested in the sim and complimenting the build so far. We must have passed out 20 tags and even got a few more renters interested in building with us. This is an exciting time at Pulse...Afterwards I slow danced with my lover and we sighed with relief, then grinned from ear to ear, knowing that even more fantastic and exciting things are to come with every new day. I love my new home.
