A few of our close friends belong to a group called Havok (myself included honorarily) and last week they suggested a Costume Event to promote their group and Pulse and to kick off the Halloween season. Well anyone who knows Flatliners knows we LOVE a party so we were all over it. DJ Sly and her delicious self was in the booth (tits out and pantieless for brief moments (pun so intended) She completely captivated the crowd. Everyone came out in their finest sick sick and sometimes breathtaking regalia. We danced and played and baked muffins til the wee hours...what FUNNN. The Splooooder was popped over and over again and hot and sweaty we collapsed in a writhing mass of bodies and slid latex against fur until we all came in earth-shattering....oh wait...I dreamed that last part hehe. Anyways, everyone that was there had a blast and the people that couldn't make it (acey, Aezer...and dammit Aoi). Well....you missed it bigtime. Hey Everyone, Roblem your Evil Pulse Overlord here.

 

Blogging, I do it in fits and spurts so expect it when that gap in my blogging shows up.  So… Pulse. Frankly I couldn’t be happier. We built a solid mixed use sim and people seem to love it. We have a great group of people that come and go as they please and do amazing things while they are here. There are a lot of projects and ideas that are in the mix for the near future. Heh, took down about a ¼ of the sim to make way for some of the changes just this morning and have a camera full of textures to reprocess. Fun stuff.

 

Not big on naming names unless I feel I need to, but we had a few people important to me decide they needed to “go” recently. But it was for their own reasons that they needed to do something different. As much as I will miss them around all the time I like the fact that people can move on without having to break ties. In actuality we have only had to ban a few people beyond the usual grievers. Oh, and not really sure if you are banned or not? Just try and TP over, if you can’t you are banned, simple stuff. None of this dramatic power play BS of being escorted off the sim or whatever. If your banned, you are banned, if you would like back on, IM me or Ivey and talk to us about it, its no biggie.

 

As long as I am here I might as well get into it. I got word that Pulse has been accused of being a “carbon copy” of Dark Sides by no less than Fangs himself. How exactly our Urban B-Horror movie mixed use sim is a copy of a Gothic Vampire Role Play sim is beyond me. –shrugs-  Yes we both have dance clubs, but I have run one version of Club Mutation or another for almost a year now. We do both have churches but that, like many things is simply meeting an SL need, people like to partner, they want a place to do it. Only the differences stand out, like above the cloud level I let anything go, as long as they are willing to pay for the prims. Last I heard DS was against skyboxes of any kind. Of course the answer is there is no comparison between the sims, heh, we don’t even attract the same kind of vendors. So no, sorry no giant sheets of carbon paper over here, just clear memories of how I will never treat people.

 

 

So where to start after a month of no posts and so much has happened. Hmmm...well Boston for one. That's where I'm typing from now. Made the biggg move. Gawd..having fun, being with him..not much else to say yet...just yummm. We've gone through some outer fringe family since the last time you heard from me. A little drama here and there but not so bad we couldn' handle it. More came in to fill the gaps and we condensed. Pulse is under constant renovation trying to make it even more dark and disturbing and keep our urban edge. Our core still remains, Rob, me, asc, Sinji, Yuki, Tannith, Vin, Kalia, Ven, Rowan, Arti but we've made some new close friends and adopted a few strays...Darken, Spider, Aja, Aezer...and we have some regular drop ins we love to see. Gambling is gone from SL now (haha---gives the Lindens the "Finga!") Didn't we learn our lessons from the 20's liquor prohibition? there will always be a way around it and most of the time it will be illegal as fuck. We had a short but memorable stint with ColeMarie Soleil who came in like a whirlwind made us all insane and swooped out just as quickly as she came. She made life interesting for a bit then jetted off to her next group of chosen pals. The building is getting better and our new Store is open (if lacking in inventory, but we'll get there) it's called appropriately...SNATCH. And many many ideas. We're adding another sim to the family in september, Spider and Sinji have generously given us more space to play and the plans for our next Pulse project: FLATLINE CITY...are all hush hush for now. You have to know the secret codeword -grinss- Roblem the Overlord is an ever present reminder of prim usage..but he says this one is allll go for it. Oh Oh one last thing...it's official since Nigel and Fangs kicked SINJI of all people off Darkside. If you're a member of Pulse...you will be escorted off their sims HAHA. Ya...we stole all their ideas and are a carbon copy of Darkside. LMAO...don't you just love paranoid fuckers. Open your eyes boys! NO ONE gives a FUCK what you do!

Well, not a long post but a heartfelt one. I love my home, love my family, love my man...doing good on this side of the fence..how's yours?

Ok I admit it, I'm bad bad bunny....and a procrastinator. For two weeks almost I've been saying I would get pics up from the opening and well.....I need a spanking. It prolly wont get done this weekend either. I have the best excuse though. I'm going home to NC to see my parents for a few days and then my life changes forever. I'm meeting the man of my dreams, my best friend, my Master, my adored, my forever, my partner in SL, Roblem. I can't even sit still, I'm so excited. Three days in a hotel, fucking, eating, sleeping together, watching TV, kissing...oh god kissing...with the guy that turned my life upside down. And then two weeks later I get in the car with my dog and all my shit and move to Boston to make the rest of his life happy.....I don't know how I'm gonna wait. Well anyways, enough of my gushing and better late than never. I'll get those pics in asap. I'm loving the whole world at the moment. Even the people that suck -kishusss-  IV

What a wild few months it's been and now it's time to roll out the filthy blood stained carpet and welcome you all to Pulse. Our baby..our little corner of Second Life. Welcome to it...enjoy yourselves. I know I will be. Thank you to everyone that helped put this together. Well we had a lil bit of a monumentous event at Pulse yesterday. Two of my favorite boys in the whole world decided to throw caution to the gutter and get hitched up. In a Gothic Lolita themed ceremony, written personally by yours truely (I'm a big sap) Sinji and Yukio tied the proverbial knot....and Pulse had it's first wedding celebration. Pisser was I had to go to work so I missed all the partying after. I'm hearing rumours this morning of some broken china and a little mess in the Tardis, heh. Honestly I can't think of two more deserving people than Sin and Yuki. We love you guys and hope you have many many romps and rummages ahead of you. And don't forget to take video!

It's been an obscene length of time since I blogged, but there is a fucking reason I swearrr. Been building like a bitch. I got a hammer and hammered in the morning, I hammered in the evening...all over his land. Sheesh, never thought I'd get tired of doing that, but what I would do for a few hours not to see those edit arrows. Worth every drop of blood and sweat tho. Pulse...man Pulse. I'm exhausted...as is everyone else who's been working their hot lil asses off. Opening weekend starts Friday...5 days.

I would never have guessed that I could make so much stuff. I suggest it to anyone who wants a crash course in building. Buy a SIM! I tellya. I keep saying I'm ready to relax but I know it's just starting. IMs about rentals, vendors, fixing a broke ass sploder. It never stops. Feels like we're open already but we're not even advertising yet. I'm throwing some random pics in, just to say I made a blog post and it's back to work.

I'll return with Sinji and Yukio's wedding and the tentative schedule for opening weekend chit. Fun Fun! -grabs hammer- now get the fuck outa my way..I got tenements to build!

 

 

 

I'd like to introduce you to our newest Resident at Pulse. He's a Creature Co. Creation by Neil Protagonist an amazing designer who now is ass deep in sculptie prims and making some fantastic items. I sent Vin to search for trees for our creepy dark forest and he IMed me as excited as a kittie can get, yelling...I found an OCTOPUS, can I bring him home and call him Roy? I was like yessssss....and cracking up telling Rob about it. Later on that night we got to spend some quality time getting to know Roy our giant turquoise octopus..he's one of us now. Gooble Gobble.

I've been exhausted and trying to relax all day today but I'm just so amped from the opening last night. Pulse isn't even close to done yet but the new warehouse style club was up and running as of 7 pm SLT Thursday, May 31. I sent out about 30 invites to our favorite designers and though almost certain none would show, hoped for the best. We actually got some responses before the club opened and excitedly signed on Jeepers Creepers (who make my fave shoes, the Betty) and Hybrid, a fantastic neko shop. I'm so excited to have them on board as vendors along with Pink & Punk, Bloodlines, Murderdoll and ReTox. I did have a feeling I wouldn't hear from the larger designers I sent invites to, but it was worth a shot. Damn and I forgot again to contact the vendors from the old mall and see if they wanted to move over to Pulse -headdesk- as acey would say.

Anyways, I was scrambling at the last minute to find something to wear and send out notices to all three groups. the first hour was a blur completely...taking snapshots for the blog, greeting everyone and paying out to the sploder (I never won a cent all night lol) Vincent the beautiful kitty-boy spun some emo for a bit, then hit us with the hard stuff. We had sooo many come to play. People I knew, new friends...everyone intested in the sim and complimenting the build so far. We must have passed out 20 tags and even got a few more renters interested in building with us. This is an exciting time at Pulse...Afterwards I slow danced with my lover and we sighed with relief, then grinned from ear to ear, knowing that even more fantastic and exciting things are to come with every new day. I love my new home.
